Diadophone

The diadophone is a string instrument I constructed for use in improvised settings. It has two strings and multiple levers which act both as sound generators and simple mechanisms for stopping the strings at harmonic nodes. I have played this instrument in one-off collaborations with musicians such as Jean Luc Guionnet, Jodie Rottle, Jim Denley, Josten Myburgh & Djuna Lee, as well as in my ongoing duo Ambient Death Machine with Stew Shephard.
