A suite of compositions dealing with the elemental forces and stories attached to the tragic myths of the Batavia shipwreck on the west coast of Australia. The first of these works was presented as an ensemble composition performed by myself, Lindsay Vickery, Ben Greene, Jameson Feakes & Josten Myburgh as part of my Honours graduation recital at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. I have since presented adaptions of it throughout Perth and in Geraldton, near where the Batavia wrecked.
